I have worked with boomers for 15 years. I have seen two boomers the same age: one was still running marathons and traveling. The other was on his second heart attack and required nursing home assistance for months.
It just doesn't have to be this way!
Now that we’re in our mid-forties to early sixties, we’re coming to the age in life that makes us realize the pursuits of our youth are replaced with the true importance that life provides. We turn from quarterly reports and annual budgets to being aware of how significant every second with family and friends mean to us.
In order to enjoy this time, health and youthfulness become of prime importance. We want to enjoy now what we may have taken for granted in the past. With this newfound enlightenment, we want to enjoy every moment that life has to offer. These are times that baby boomers want to be their best and most alive years—and not caught in the cycle of illness or recovery.
We become wise men and women, trying to help our children live life in a way we may not have, but now wish we had; a treasure that represents how we want to live now.
